Very disappointed considering I have had a bit of work with this dealership over the last few years. I have a Volvo V40 which has a known door locking issue. You only need to Google it to see so many issues, particularly affecting my year model. Considering Volvo is supposedly known for its safety, its shocking that they would want to charge a diagnostic fee and then £300+ for a new lock. It's principle. I had the car from new, from another Volvo garage, but have had 2 or 3 services from this garage. I now have it booked in at another Volvo dealership who have been nice enough to waive the diagnostic charge and then try and send off for a goodwill gesture to see if any of the cost of the repair can be covered. This garage is happy to take your money at extreme overheads and a lack of aftercare.
